Cne Breaux and Ilene Powell of Krewe du Kork are this week’s Citizens of the Week. They were nominated by Jodie English for throwing the Barkanalia Benefit Dinner during Eureka Gras, benefiting Good Shepherd Humane Society. English said their enthusiasm and energy for the community is contagious. “Cne and Ilene of Krewe du Kork helped Eureka to rally during hard times,” English said.
