Library facilities reopen to public
The Eureka Springs Carnegie Public Library, located at 194 Spring St., is welcoming patrons back inside the main library and media center to browse. The library reopened its facilities starting Sunday, March 14, and has resumed its pre-pandemic hours. The library is open seven days a week.
This is the third phase in the library’s reopening plan and there are safety protocols in place to keep the community safe.
Patrons and library staff are required to wear face coverings at all times. A limited number of people are allowed inside at one time and the library offers one-hour browsing appointments at 10 a.m., noon, 2 p.m., 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to provide time for air purifiers to filter the air in both buildings between sessions while librarians sanitize frequently touched surfaces.
The library is open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
All items must be returned via the book drop, and all returned items will be quarantined for 48 hours before they are shelved.
