Vince, who preferred being called Vinnie, ended his earthly journey in July of 2021 in Harrison, Ark. He was born June 11, 1970 in Colorado.
He is survived by his parents, Mel and Jan Shipley, of Eureka Springs; his sister, Holly; daughter, Nyla; son, Ty; niece, Kayla; nephews, Tyler and Kyle; uncle, Ken; aunt, Dawn and abundant friends.
As we have heard from many of his acquaintenances, “he was a good guy”. Yes, Vince was a very caring, non-judgmental man who would share whatever he had with who ever was in need. He made friends quite easily and had a great sense of humor. His only drawback was his addiction to alcohol, and he finally gained some control during the last four months of his life. That lifestyle lead to him being lost to a massive fatal heart attack.
If you are reading this obituary and have any addictive problems, please, please seekhelp so that your mother or close relative won’t be writing of your premature end of life as I am writing of his.
Vince’s family will seek out a beautiful green field that appeared in his father’s dream two nights after we heard of his passing. There we will scatter his ashes. He is free now from the reign that held him back. Yes, Vinnie was a very good guy – but gone way too soon.
