Itís now safe to swim at the City of Beaver Swim Beach.

Tom Jones, senior environmental specialist with the Arkansas Department of Health, sent an email on Monday saying the beach reopened on Thursday, July 18, after being shut down for weeks because of high levels of E. Coli. A test on July 10 came in at 48 E. Coli, Jones writes, and a second test on July 11 came in at 18.7 E. Coli. Both samples are well below the safe limit, which is 127 E. Coli.
