The Clear Spring School will celebrate Earth Day with its annual Trashathon on Thursday, April 22.

The Trashathon is usually held in November, but it was postponed because of COVID-19. Head of School Jessica FitzPatrick said the school decided to wait until it was safe to hold the event.

“Earth Day seemed like the perfect day to have it this year,” FitzPatrick said. “This long-standing tradition of the school’s focus on social responsibility is something that we take pride in and the Trashathon is just one way that Clear Spring gives back to the Eureka Springs community.”

All day long on April 22, students, teachers and staff will pick up trash around Eureka Springs.

If you have any questions about the event, visit or call 479-253-7888.
