Luther Thackery, aka "The Blues Dog," Lutherpie, Lulu and many other affectionate names, went to doggie heaven on April 2. He was rescued as a tiny puppy, and lived large for almost 14 years. Luther had many Blues fans and friends from all over the country, all of Eureka Springs, and proudly reigned over the Eureka Springs Blues Festival as its mascot for over a decade.
