The Eureka Springs School of the Arts (ESSA) will host a Student Art Reception on Friday, June 6 at 4 p.m. at the school's campus at 15751 US62W.
The reception will display student work created in classes taught by painter Carol Peacock of Eureka Springs, watercolorist Marlene Gremillion of Hot Springs Village, painter Julie Kahn Valentine of Eureka Springs and wood turner Greg Thomas of Elkins.
Three ESSA instructors will display their art on Tuesday, June 10 at 5:30 p.m. at the Carnegie Public Library's Meeting Room at 194 Spring St. Featured artists will include: bookmaking artist Dolph Smith of Ripley, Tenn.; jeweler and metalsmith Judy Lee Carpenter of Eureka Springs; and metal sculptor and potter Jim Wallace of Eureka Springs.
