This past Sunday, the Creator called Paul Eddings to his ancestors' home behind the stars. Paul was well known for his artistic approach to stone masonry. He worked with Trig Torgerson in creating the beautiful stone wall on Planer Hill.
Paul was also well known for his musical abilities. He was a guitar player who was always ready to sit-in with anyone, any time, any place. And lyrically he was always ready with a hook line or a rhyme that worked.
The next time you're walking up Planer Hill next to that beautiful rock wall … and you think you hear someone bending a guitar string … that'll be Paul, busking on the other side.
Paul will be missed and remembered dearly by his stepmother, brothers and sisters, children, grandchildren, his ex-wives and close friends, his former stepchildren and many friends.
Visitation will be on Thursday, Aug. 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Kaufman's Funeral Home in Harrison. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Batavia Assembly of God Church on Hwy 397 through Batavia, Arkansas.
