Tinker McClain, a resident of Eureka Springs, was born Nov. 25, 1948 in Berryville, a son of Otis and Dorothy (Jennings) McClain. He died Nov. 14 in Eureka Springs at the age of 59.
Tinker is survived by three daughters, Misti and husband Ross Scoggins of Fayetteville, Heather and husband Chris Watson of Springdale and Jessica and husband David Martie of Moody Air Force Base in Georgia; one sister, Bonnie Epley of Springdale; four grandchildren, Jaci Watson, Jacob and MaKenzie Scoggins and Austyn Martie; four nieces; two nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Although there is no formal memorial service planned at this time, an informal celebration of Tinker's life will be held Sunday, Dec. 7 at 1 p.m. at the Lumberyard Bar and Grill. Larry Sheridan, 53, of Eureka Springs, formerly of Cabot, was born March 12, 1955 to Bill and Jane Sheridan. He died Sunday, Nov. 16.
Larry was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother; one daughter, Chelsi Sheridan; his partner of many years, Teresa Grose; two brothers, Paul and William Sheridan, their wives and children; and many, many friends and family who will miss him dearly.
Though our lives will never be the same with Larry gone, we know that the pain and suffering he was feeling has been replaced with peace. Those lucky enough to known him, now have heaven's best guardian angel watching over them.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 29 at First Christian Church on Passion Play Rd.
Ian Everett Scher, 42 of Eureka Springs, died on Nov. 14 at his home. He was born June 22, 1966 to Michael Scher and Karen Jo Scher in Los Angeles, Calif.
Ian loved to ride his motorcycle and was a prominent member of the Rogers Little Theatre, acting in many productions over the years.
He was preceded in death by his mother. He is survived by his father; spouse Keith Johnston; one daughter, Jacqueline Rainey of Springdale; and two sisters, Angela and husband Carl Larue of Rogers and Stacey Scher of Fayetteville.
Funeral services were held Nov. 18 at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel.

Richard "Dick" Major, a resident of Eureka Springs, was born Aug. 5, 1920 in Dixon, Ill., a son of Harry Arnold and Amanda (Teachout) Major. He died on Nov. 14 in Eureka Springs at the age of 88.
Mr. Major served as a sergeant in the United States Army during World War II. He attended the First Christian Church. He also was a store manager for A&P Grocery.
On May 17, 1942 he married Marlene June Kaiser, who survives him of the home. He is also survived by two daughters, Marti Suchsland of Eureka Springs and Sally and husband Joseph Munda of Elmwood Park, Ill.; two grandchildren, Jodi Suchsland of Eureka Springs and Paul Munda of Elmwood Park, Ill.; one brother, Jack Major and wife Rita of Maggie Valley, N.C.; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Donald Major.

Patricia Darlene Crowley, a resident of Berryville, was born Dec. 21, 1937 in San Bernardino, Calif., a daughter of Preston and Millie (Smith) Porter. She died Nov. 17 in Fayetteville at the age of 70.
In 1984, Mrs. Crowley married Warren Crowley who survives her of the home. She is also survived by two sons, LeRoy Olson of Eureka Springs and Tom Olson of Springfield, Mo.; one sister, Dayle Thorsgard of San Diego, Calif.; one brother, Ed Porter of Phelan, Calif.; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter and three sons.
