The nomination for long-time Eureka Springs High School teacher Princess Jackson as this week's COW arrived on an impressive and immaculately typewritten sheet of letterhead stationery. How appropriate. Back in the 1960s before many people ever heard of Vietnam, Jackson coerced a bunch of boys, who were more interested in playing basketball, into entering her business class and learning how to type. They weren't eager but they did learn to type. A few years later they all came home from the war, alive. Most of them typed their way through it in headquarters positions instead of slogging through rice paddies. Thanks Princess for saving a generation of young Eurekans.
