The Eureka Springs School of the Arts' (ESSA) Friday student receptions have moved to Thursday studio strolls from 4 to 6 p.m.
The studio strolls are open to family, friends and the public. Visitors will get to view a student's work in progress, along with works finished earlier in the week, as they enjoy refreshments on the ESSA campus at 15751 US62W.
The premiere of this new feature will showcase the works of the students of watercolorist Marlene Gremillion, metal sculptor Jim Wallace and fiber artist Jan Hawks. The new studio stroll will replace ESSA's Friday afternoon receptions.
On Tuesday, June 23 at 4 p.m. ESSA will host a slide show of Session Four instructor Lowell Baker's "Figurative Sculpture" work at the campus, which is open to the public.
Openings are still available in Leandra Spangler's "Hand Papermaking" workshop which begins June 29, Laura Waters "Intensive Ceramics" class on July 15 and Roberta Katz-Messenger's "Stained Glass" workshop starting July 13.
Those wishing to attend may register on-line at www.esartschool.org, or call 253-5384.
