Annual Mad Hatter Ball to benefit ESSA

Eureka Springs -- The Crescent Hotel will host the Seventh Annual Mad Hatter Ball for the Eureka Springs School of the Arts (ESSA) on Oct. 23 from 6:30 to 11:30 p.m.

The festive event raises funds through ticket sales and auctions to help with operating expenses for ESSA, a non-profit school providing adult and youth art education programs in Northwest Arkansas.

The Mad Hatter Ball requires all attendees to wear a hat of their choice for admission with a ticket. Many creative attendees go further and sport a full costume. This year an award will be given for "Best Hat" in addition to a "People's Choice" award. The ticket price is $60 per person and includes an Italian pasta buffet, music by the Big 'Uns and a silent auction.
