Iris at the Basin Park will host a reception for Eureka Springs artist Valerie Hubbard Damon on Saturday, Oct. 17 from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at 8 Spring St.

Author, painter, sculptor and more, Damon's work reflects an inner creativity that comes from the heart as she presents new giclee prints of her 2009 Artery panel. For details, call 253-9494.
