Citizen of the Week

Wednesday, December 9, 2009

"Bob, aka "Bubba" Wilson, the long-reigning Doge of local finger-licking-good barbecue, reached deep into his sumptuously famous smoking pit and kindly donated 50 tasty BBQ meals for the Eureka Springs Band to warm up with as they prepared for a chilly march in the Christmas parade last Friday night. Bob's spirit of culinary and otherwise giving extends to several funding hungry groups like ESSA, The Fat Tire Festival, The Clear Spring School -- and so the shivering Highlanders Marching Band would like to thank him from the depths of their hickory-tickled tender loins."

As good as his food is, and, for donating fifty meals, I propose a new designation for the man: Citizen of the Season!!!
