Priscilla Bowie, 65, who lived part time for years on Elk Street, died in Oxnard, California on March 5,
A Celebration of Her Life will be held Saturday, May 22, at noon at her home on Elk Street. All who knew and cared for her are welcome. Lunch will be served.
Priscilla's primary home was in California with her husband, Jim.
She was born and grew up in Tulsa, and has always had a place in her heart for Eureka Springs. She had a passion for the Victorian Era, and in the later 1980s was owner and operator of Miss Priscilla's Fantasy Guest Lodging. You would often see her walking down Spring Street greeting passersby in full turn-of-the-century costume handing out flowers to tourists.
Beautiful and talented, everything Priscilla undertook had a grace and elegance. Whether decorating, gardening or hostessing, she was a "lady."
