Citizen of the Week

Blues aficionados Lori Ragsdell and her husband, Charles, have brought blue sky to blues events in Eureka Springs and beyond. The Eureka Springs Blues Weekend is an all-volunteer fundraiser for Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge and the Blues Foundation's HART fund (www.blues.org). A full-time senior executive with a Kansas City insurance firm, Lori, with tireless effort and selfless ease, embroiders the endless details that make the Blues Weekend a success. Without playing a single note, Lori has earned a reputation as an unsung legend in the blues world. This week a choir of big cats and performing artists-in-need join the chorus in singing her praises.
