Rich Wild of Busch, Arkansas, passed at his home on Aug. 14, with Therese, the keeper of his heart for 30 years, close beside.
A Eureka character from the late 1970s, Rich will be remembered as a bouncer, auto repairman, artist with paints and neon, Spaghetti Mill manager and builder of Busch Hardware.
He is survived by the love of his life, wife Therese Peacher of Busch; mother and step-father Betty and Don Slosser and son, Troy, all of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin; and his favorite cat, Dudley.
A celebration of his life will be held on Rich's 64th birthday, September 10, 4 p.m., at Lake Leatherwoood Park. Friends are invited to bring refreshment and picnic pot luck to enjoy local musicians and remember this bear of a man who never wanted a birthday party but is getting one now.
