Citizen of the Week

Thomas Chun-yu Chen brought music to the heart of town when students and teachers performed everything from solos to chamber music and full symphony for 12 wonderful nights at the city auditorium.

Thomas made a commitment to bring music to our ears every year by hosting the CICA International Summer Music Festival and Suzuki Institute in our town, providing quality education to children to help them build a better future, and with hopes of building a permanent music conservatory here.

As this year's concerts went online, emails rolled in from people who want to come next year. Thank you, Thomas, for feeling the same way we do about this place.
