Elizabeth "Lizzie" Eugenia Martha Parker, a resident of Eureka Springs, was born November 7, 1995 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, a daughter of Timothy Steven Parker and Sharon Kay (Keck) Parker. She departed this life Friday, August 5, in Warren, Arkansas at the age of 15.

Elizabeth was of the Roman Catholic faith. She was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church. Lizzie attended Eureka Springs High School where she was a member of the Art Club. She was an altar server, a member of the St. Elizabeth Chorus and Chamber Choir and a Girl Scout. She participated in art classes at the Eureka Springs School of the Arts (ESSA). She loved writing poetry, singing and playing piano, and exploring all forms of art. She was a budding designer of jewelry, and her heartfelt passion was drawing.

Lizzie also loved the outdoors, especially getting to go fishing. She loved school and excelled in her studies. Above all, she loved her family, friends and her church.

Elizabeth is survived by her mother, Sharon Parker of Eureka Springs; father, Tim Parker of Eureka Springs; paternal grandparents, Winfred and Martha Parker of Warren, Ark.; sister, Holly Parker; brothers, Alex Parker and Brian Chandler; and step-mother, Amy Parker all of Eureka Springs; godparents, Christopher and Barbara McClung of Eureka Springs; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.

She leaves behind her beloved dachshunds, Rufus and Rascal, and many friends, along with her church family and her beloved hometown.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Warren and Eugenia Keck, of whom Elizabeth was the apple of their eyes. She was also preceded by beloved aunts and uncles on both sides.

Visitation will be held from 6 -- 7 p.m. Thursday, August 11, with Memorial Vigil Service and Rosary to be held at 7p.m., both at St. Elizabeth Parish Center on Passion Play Road in Eureka Springs.

Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Friday, August 12, at St. Elizabeth Parish Center with Father Shaun Wesley officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Eureka Springs Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service, Inc.
