Luna, 2002-2012

Wednesday, January 18, 2012

Luna was known by many Eurekans to be smart, sweet, loving and always ready to play. She worked by day as a greeter at Regalia Handmade Clothing, and by evening as a deer deterrent at her home in the Hillside neighborhood.

Her death was caused by Ehrlichia, a bacterial illness contracted from a tick bite.

In her leisure time, Luna was fond of swimming in local lakes and the fish pond at the Crescent Hotel, hiking in the woods or in town, opening presents and shaking toy bunnies. Originally an abandoned puppy, she found her parent during a full moon, and left him during one as well.

  • Condolences to her family and friends. Sorry for your loss.
