Lovely County Citizen

This week's Citizen of the Week is the Lovely County Citizen. The paper has endured its share of typos, inaccuracies, anonymous complainers and financial tornadoes over the years, yet soars higher each time she bounces.

She blossomed, despite all odds, into what she set out to be: A community paper designed to let our descendants, five or eight hundred years from now, know what life was about in early 21st-century Eureka Springs and surrounding areas.

We're proud of the way she connects our tiny but brilliant county, proud of how she draws us to work on Monday and to coffee with her on Thursday morning.

And to think she's had issues since 1999...

Aww man, I thought this was going to be the week that "Billy The Bong" was honored. Hang in there Billy, with the exception of Gary Adamson, you're the most likely inanimate object to be honored next!
