Lovely County Citizen

Antler Dan's nominator said Dan saw the article Spring Into Art in the Citizen, with its picture and caption about Keith Mock losing all his tools to fire. Dan offered to give Keith his remarkable array of chisels and carving tools, saying, "Tell him to bring a truck!"

Dan knows what it's like to lose an artist's tools. "It's like losing your hands," he said. (His own health prevents him from using the tools any more).

Keith was overwhelmed. He'd bought one of Antler Dan's beautiful knives years ago but it had been destroyed in the fire that took his own carving tools. The phoenix rises -- with a Eurekan twist.
