Citizen of the Week
Many of you will recognize Larry Suchand, aka "Jailhouse Larry," knowing him by sight rather than name. A longtime resident of Eureka Springs and owner of the old jailhouse down the hill from Center Street, Larry can often be found holding forth at the Inn Convenience Store on Main Street across from the Grand Central Hotel. Larry's nominator had this to say: "Larry is one of those people who is a wonderful ambassador for Eureka Springs. He knows everybody and is happy to tell you about it, and many times when a newlywed couple comes along and needs their picture taken, Larry is the first one to rush out to the street and help them. He is a great guy."
