Lucille was a member of the Mountain View Baptist Church near Beaver. She was a collector of antiques and ceramics. She loved being with her family and those were her most precious moments of her life.
She is survived by three sons, Donnie Lou Scroggins of Golden, Mo.; Johnnie Lee Scroggins of Busch; Mike Scroggins of Eureka Springs; daughter, Harriet Franklin of Eureka Springs; one sister, Betty Lou Burdell of Avoca; six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
On July 19, 1941 she was united in marriage with Harry Ray Scroggins who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her parents, Hugh & Ica Weston, three brothers, Luther, Lee, & Charlie Weston, one grandson, Donnie Ray Scroggins.
Visitation was from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 27, at the Nelson's Chapel of the Springs. Funeral services were 10:00 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 28 at the Nelson's Chapel of the Springs with Reverend Marvin Lloyd, Reverend Roy Scates and Reverend Marvin Wolfe officiating. Interment followed the service at the Beaver Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
