Sept. 17

2:35 p.m. — A highway road crew requested an officer to respond for an individual harassing the workers. An officer responded and told the individual to let them do their job and leave them be. We’re really sorry. We were just having some fun.

Sept. 18

9:49 a.m. — A caller requested an officer for a private property accident report at a local business. An officer responded and took a report.

3:23 p.m. — An officer took a report on theft.

Sept. 19

5:04 p.m. — An officer responded to the report of an unoccupied vehicle parked and running. The officer spoke to all parties.

Sept. 20

8:51 a.m. — A caller advised there had been a vehicle parked at the post office longer than the permitted time. An officer responded and issued a parking citation.

9:53 p.m. — An officer responded to a report of a vehicle parked in a handicapped spot longer than the permitted time. An officer responded and issued a parking citation.

9:56 p.m. — An officer responded to a report of a suspicious male walking around the vehicles near the pool of an area motel. An officer checked the area and spoke to the clerk. The subject was a guest. All was well.

10:13 p.m. — An officer responded to a report of a traffic problem. The officer checked the area but located no traffic problem.

Sept. 21

4:36 a.m. — An officer responded to the hospital to help a parent with a disgruntled child. Man, now we know who to call!

8:01 a.m. — Officers responded to an alarm at a local business, The manager was inside the business, and the alarm was accidental. All was well.

8:35 a.m. — A caller requested an officer for a report of someone running over their mailbox and a street sign sometime during the night. An officer responded and took a report.

12:10 p.m. — A caller requested an officer to respond to a local residence for a dark red Slingshot with a female driver and a male passenger that had jumped the curb and taken out a neighbor’s mailbox before taking off. An officer responded and searched the area as well as local hotels but was unable to locate the vehicle. A report was taken.

1:57 p.m. — An officer responded to a local business for a report of a mother and daughter having an argument. They were separated.

6:26 p.m. — An officer responded to a report of people causing a disturbance but was unable to locate the subjects.

7:33 p.m. — Officers responded to a report of a traffic accident. A report was filed.

11:34 p.m. — Officers responded to an area motel for a welfare check.

Sept. 22

12:20 p.m. — A caller advised that a vehicle was parked in the road and could pose a potential hazard. An officer responded and asked the owner to move the vehicle.

1:56 p.m. — An officer responded to assist with a single-vehicle accident until Carroll County deputies arrived.

2:30 p.m. — A caller advised of an intoxicated male inside an area business. Officers responded and arrested the subject for public intoxication.

11:12 p.m. — A caller advised she heard a female scream near the area of her residence. An officer responded and checked the area but was unable to locate anyone in distress.

11:33 p.m. — While on patrol downtown, an officer assisted a motorist with getting their vehicle started.

Sept. 23

5:04 a.m. — An officer initiated a traffic stop and arrested a subject on four counts of possession of a controlled substance, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and careless and imprudent driving.

7:42 a.m. — Officers responded to a report of a male subject passed out in his vehicle and arrested him for public intoxication.

12:54 p.m. — A caller requested a welfare check on an individual that was texting her about harming himself. An officer located the individual. He was fine and making arrangements to leave town.

4:37 p.m. — A caller advised of a neighbor’s baby crying nonstop since early in the morning. An officer responded.

5:11 p.m. — A caller advised that some walkers found a personal safe and didn’t want to pick it up. An officer responded.

11:36 p.m. — Officers responded to an area bar for a domestic dispute and arrested a subject for public intoxication.

1:15 a.m. — An officer responded to an area residence for possible suspicious activity.
