1:23 a.m. — A security company called in an alarm at a local business. Officers responded to check the property and everything was secure.

1:31 p.m. — Officers responded to a local hotel for a two-vehicle accident and took a report.

8:01 p.m. — Officers responded to a report of a wanted person and arrested the subject.

10:35 p.m. — A caller requested a welfare check on his mother after receiving a call from her that was out of sorts. Officers responded to the residence and found the subject was OK.

Dec. 1

2:10 p.m. — An officer spoke with a property owner regarding a suspicious person who trespassed on his property.

4:40 p.m. — An officer responded to assist another agency, and a subject was arrested on warrant.

5:11 p.m. — An officer responded to a report of a suicidal person, made contact with the person and found everything was OK. The officer advised that there was a miscommunication.

9:40 p.m. — Officers responded to a local hotel after a report of a person who left without paying their bill at the restaurant and bar. Officers also checked the area.

Dec. 2

3:48 p.m. — Officers responded to a local apartment complex for a welfare check, made contact with the individual and everything was fine. No report was needed.

8 p.m. — An officer responded to Sebastian County Jail in Fort Smith to pick up a subject on an outstanding warrant. The subject was transported to Carroll County Jail for holding.

11:30 p.m. — A caller reported two people fighting in the Gaskin Switch area. She advised a white truck was parked there and one seemed to be trying to leave. An officer responded to the area but was unable to locate anyone and did not witness any signs or sounds of distress or fighting.

Dec. 3

3:18 a.m. — A caller reported a male subject that was parked in front of a business at the end of the building for a while, not sleeping or getting out of the vehicle. An officer checked the property, made contact with the individual and all was well.

8:12 a.m. — Officers responded to the east city limits for a report of an erratic driver but were unable to locate the vehicle.

4:46 p.m. — An officer responded to a local grocery store for a report of a suspicious person but couldn't make contact with the subject.

5:21 p.m. — An officer responded to the area of Highway 23 and Highway 62 for a report of a white SUV that was following the caller too close. The officer located the vehicle, stopped the vehicle, spoke with the driver and everything was fine.

6:42 p.m. — An officer responded to a male subject that needed help, spoke with the subject and gave assistance.

Dec. 4

2:17 a.m. — A security company called in an alarm at a local business. An officer responded to check the building and everything was secure.

5:03 p.m. — Officers responded for a welfare check on a female subject, made contact and all was well.

7:13 p.m. — Officers were given information on a stolen vehicle to be on the lookout for from the Carroll County Sheriff's Office.

9 p.m. — Officers responded to a motel for a subject that had an argument with his wife and took off into the woods. Officers found the subject and spoke with him and his wife. All was well.

11:11 p.m. — A local apartment manager requested an officer to report a male subject caught attempting to break in to an apartment. She advised her husband was out with the subject. Officers responded to the scene and made contact with the complainant and the subject. It was determined that the subject did actually have permission to be there and no further action was taken.

Dec. 5

7:06 a.m. — Officers responded to the area of E. Van Buren for a reported suspicious vehicle.

1:23 p.m. — Officers responded to a report of an open garage door and advised that everything was fine.

1:52 p.m. — Officers responded to Pivot Rock Road to assist EMS.

Dec. 6

1:04 p.m. — The owner of a local hotel requested officers to respond to remove an unwanted individual from the property.

2:14 p.m. — An officer responded to Highway 62 for a report of a low hanging line. The officer advised it was a cable line and contacted Cox.

3:09 p.m. — Officers responded to Black Bass Lake for a report of a suspicious person but couldn't locate anything.

5:03 p.m. — Officers responded to E. Van Buren for a report of a disturbance, made contact and everything quieted down.

5:22 p.m. — Officers responded for a welfare concern, made contact and assisted an individual.

8:42 p.m. — An officer spoke with a subject over the phone about threats. No report was needed.

8:55 p.m. — An officer responded to a report of a welfare concern, made contact and everything was fine.

11:22 p.m. — Security at a hotel advised that an intoxicated male subject was asking for a shuttle ride to his vehicle. The employee advised that the subject was too intoxicated to drive and requested an officer. The subject agreed to get a room for the night at the hotel rather than drive home.

11:38 p.m. — A caller at a hotel advised of a suspicious male subject walking around the parking lot. An officer responded and the subject advised that he was visiting the tenant in an apartment nearby.

Dec. 7

8:18 a.m. — The manager of a campground requested an officer to report a trespasser caught on camera. Officers responded to speak with the complainant.

9:09 a.m. — An alarm company called in a commercial alarm at a local business. Officers responded and found everything was fine.

10:38 a.m. — Officers responded to Highway 62 for a report of a traffic problem and found the vehicle causing the problem was gone on arrival.

10:58 a.m. — Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle, made contact with the driver and everything was fine.

2:33 p.m. — An officer spoke to a male subject about a possible assault. No report was needed.

2:55 p.m. — An officer responded to Hale and Council Streets for a traffic accident and filed a report.

5:45 p.m. — An officer responded to Highway 62 for a welfare concern, checked the area and couldn't locate anything.
